Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents Aaron Jansz Presents: The Music of Rogers and Hart.
Composer Richard Rogers and lyricist Lorenz Hart created 28 stage musicals and over 500 songs, many of which have become established classics within 'The Great American Songbook'. Some of their century-old songs have been performed and recorded by artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, Harry Connick Jr., and Diana Krall.
Performed by an exceptional ensemble of Brisbane musicians, led by drummer Aaron Jansz, this program celebrates the prolific duo's work, featuring original and inspired arrangements of classic show tunes, including songs from Babe in Arms, The Boy From Syracuse and Pal Joey.
