The Ceramics, Glass, and Jewellery & Object Design studios at SCA have nourished and challenged the values of the craft arts for almost 50 years. For this year's Craft Week, SCA presents Making It Right, an exhibition which brings together an exciting selection of student, alumni and staff artworks.

Though the works on show will emerge from diverse thematic frameworks and studio practices, all artists will present the carbon footprint of their making process. The exhibition seeks to heighten awareness of the environmental impact of artistic practices and introduce direct and practical ways artists can reduce this impact.

Come along and view the exhibition, watch live demonstrations in the studios during Craft Up Late including Raku ring, glassblowing and silversmithing, and speak to students and staff about a creative life at SCA.

This event is part of the Sydney Craft Week Festival 7-16 October 2022.

SCW is an Australian Design Centre initiative. View the complete festival program.
