What does inclusive arts practice look like in action?
How can we, as arts professionals, make space mentally, physically and emotionally to enable our diverse community to flourish?
Join Catherine Thickett, Visual Art Coordinator, Studio ARTES; Robbie Ewins, Artist; Cara McLean, Artist, and Lleah Smith, Programs and Learning Manager, Biennale of Sydney, in conversation as they discuss what inclusivity looks like in arts practice across a range of professions and experiences.
Emerging and established arts professionals will be invited to rethink what support means and how it can manifest disparately when working with different artists and audiences. The timely discussion aims to acknowledge and advocate for a new understanding of the term 'space' by unpacking the multi-layered intricacies of the very loaded term.
Presented by the Biennale of Sydney in partnership with Studio ARTES and UNSW Art & Design as part of the 23rd Biennale of Sydney, rīvus.
