Be transported to the magical mangroves of Australia’s Top End in Mangroves - Tales from the Tide. The exhibition is a scientific collaboration of textile, photography and digital art that celebrates the diversity, beauty and importance of mangrove environments.

Showcasing detailed and delightful textile works by three Darwin-based artists visitors can wander between columns of recycled denim patchwork quilts and get up close to needle felt sculptures of the mangroves’ shyest inhabitants.

The exhibition also features breathtaking footage of the Top End’s mangrove ecosystems on Questacon’s 15-metre-wide curved video wall.
