International award winning artist Shazia Imran is the director of AAD Gallery. With over 23 years digital, marketing and strategic background, Shazia has attained a highly successful career in visual arts.
An accomplished artist and sculptor, Shazia is best known for her expressive mixed media pieces. She has won many national and international awards including Lorenzo il Magnifico Award at the Florence Biennale 2015, Applied Arts Award at the London Biennale 2017, 'Most Collectible Artist' Award at Shenzhen City Art Fair, First prize at the 2018 Chianciano Biennale, 2nd prize International Confederation of Art Critics Award 2019 London Biennale and multiple awards in Australia
Her work is sought after internationally and is selling as an investment in Hong Kong and Singapore. Her work hangs in public and private collections in Australia, USA, UK, Hong Kong, Thailand, China and Singapore.
Australian Art & Design (AAD) Gallery is an artist collective, well known for promoting original and unique works by local Sydney artists.
AAD Gallery is organising a suite of interactive art programs in the space situated at iconic and historical precinct of The Rocks as part of the 'ART ON THE ROCKS' project. The main objective of the program is to educate, promote and assist visual and performing artists.
