Melbourne Writers Festival brings together writers and readers in a joyful celebration of the written word. Each year the festival welcomes Australian and international literary heroes, emerging stars and fascinating thinkers to the stage - both live in person in Melbourne, via live cross and in a special digital program - to delve into the stories that make and move us.
In a special early announcement, the MWF has announced the first part of an unparalleled line-up of storytellers.
Star of the hit show Succession, and renowned stage and screen actor, Brian Cox; writer, actor, comedian and the creative force behind the stop-animation Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, Jenny Slate; and New York Times-bestselling author Mohsin Hamid will be live in Melbourne for in-person events. And iconic musician Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) will join by live-cross.
