In the lead up to the 2021 Waverley Youth Art Prize - We are family, join award winning artist Tannya Harricks for a mixed media collage session.

Students will meditate on ideas about family and belonging before moving onto canvas to learn how to create contemporary portraits through integrating drawing, collage and painting. Tannya Harricks is a highly regarded artist recently working in Children's book illustration. Her recent book: Dingo was the joint winner of the Patricia Wrightson Prize for Children's Literature at the NSW Premier's Literary Award (2019) and won the Royal Zoological Society of NSW's Whitley Award (2018).
