Mona's summer festival returns with art, music, and other great stuff in January 2021, across Hobart and Launceston. 'Another happy day', to quote Samuel Beckett, patron saint of summer festivals everywhere.
No BYO but you'll have plenty of options for food. You can have Heaps at Mofo Sessions at Mona. Food trucks and bars at Mofo Sessions at Royal Park and No Place Like Home. Don't forget to bring your ID. To assist with social distancing, some venues will require you to order food and drinks with a QR code.
Following advice from state and federal health authorities about how to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, some measures include: physical distancing controls, increased cleaning, advanced hygiene protocols, visitor and staff record keeping.
For most Mona Foma events, you will need to register your details before entering the venue. This is for contact tracing, in keeping with COVID-safe events in Tasmania.
