Moods of Wonderland is the debut solo show of Photographer and Film Director Charlie Ford. Working with medium format film, Ford captured twenty-one images that were created exclusively within walking distance of the artist's home on Wonderland Avenue, Tamarama during Sydney's 2021 lockdown.
Launching on Friday 25 February, Moods of Wonderland is an exploration of the nature of flux inherent in both emotional and physical landscapes. The lockdowns were an incredibly tumultuous time, filled with conflicting emotions, from anxiety, existential dread, to gratitude for the abundant beauty of the place many are lucky enough to call home, to an appreciation of the quieter moments and the simple pleasures.
The artworks will be exhibited exclusively in the artist's home on Wonderland Avenue, Tamarama from Friday 25 February. Spaces for the opening night are strictly limited, and RSVP is essential. Catalogue requests and guided private viewings with the artist can be arranged between Saturday 26th and Sunday 6th of March via info@swfilm.tv
