Inspired by the vibrant colours and flavours of Morocco, The Grounds of Alexandria has transformed into an urban oasis, hosting a lavish feast for two this Valentine's Day weekend, under a canopy of lush greenery and colourful lanterns. Featuring loads of jaw-dropping live entertainment, it's sure to be a night to remember!

Menu

First course

• Figs and goats cheese with orange blossom and coriander seed.

• Zaalouk and baba ghanouj with wood-fired flatbread.

• Spiced lamb cigars with sumac yoghurt.

• White anchovies with chermoula on toast.

• Fried eggplant with paprika batter.

• Feta and olive tapenade pastries.

• Chicken brochettes.

• Nuts and olives.

Second course

• Moroccan roast spatchcock with pomegranate and harissa.

• Roasted barramundi with cumin, preserved lemon and saffron.

• Slow cooked tagine with beef, eggplant, dates and almonds.

Third course

• Couscous with tomato, mint and raisins.

• Tomato, cucumber, mint and parsley salad.

• Roast beetroot with orange, walnuts and feta.

Dessert board

• Moroccan orange cake served with lemon syrup and mandarin coulis.

• Moroccan fruit salad with orange, mandarin, pomegranate and fresh mint.

• Almond, orange blossom and cinnamon m'hencha.

• Pistachio and hazelnut briouate served with rosewater syrup.

• Almond and chocolate ghriba.

Drinks

• A themed cocktail per person on arrival (choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic).

• A bottle of wine for the table (choice of red, white or sparkling).
