Mr Squiggle and Friends: The Creative World of Norman Hetherington brings the puppet with a pencil for a nose back into the limelight.
This exhibition reunites Mr Squiggle with his friends Blackboard, Rocket, Bill Steamshovel and Gus the Snail, along with a myriad of other characters created by master puppeteer Norman Hetherington. This exhibition showcases more than 300 objects from the Museum's recently acquired Norman Hetherington collection.
Go behind the scenes and discover Norman's magical world of puppetry, cartooning and entertainment. Try your hand at puppeteering or add your own creation to their squiggle digital interactive. Let your imagination run wild!
