For 68 years, the Myer Christmas Windows in Melbourne have been a centerpiece of Christmas celebrations, bringing the spirit of Christmas to life. This Christmas, the tradition continues with a special Australian Christmas theme.

Christmas 2023 is especially exciting with the arrival of Bluey and her family at the flagship store in Bourke Street Mall. The Christmas display, rich in Christmas spirit, allows visitors to step into scenes from the Heeler family's Christmas adventures, featuring a special emphasis on Bluey's Christmas day. This Christmas spectacle includes over 500 handcrafted pieces, creating a Christmas wonderland across six enchanting windows.

Adding to the Christmas joy, Level 6 at Myer transforms into a Christmas-themed Bluey's world. Here, Christmas becomes even more interactive with activities like a ‘Dance Mode Silent Disco’, learning the Bluey theme song on keyboards, and special Christmas ‘Meet and Greets’.

The Myer Christmas Windows, a hallmark of Melbourne's Christmas festivities, are open every day for Christmas viewing from 7.30am to 10:00pm, starting Sunday, 12 November 2023, and running through the Christmas season until Saturday, 6 January 2024.

In a celebration of Christmas craftsmanship, the Bluey Myer Window presents 53 meticulously created characters, with the Heeler family featured in all six Christmas scenes. Each character represents over 250 hours of dedicated Christmas artistry, from digital design to hand-painted, animatronic 3D figures.

The Christmas story begins on Christmas morning in the Heeler household, with scenes of unwrapping Christmas gifts and preparing for a festive Christmas lunch. This is followed by a Christmas visit to Uncle Stripe's for a pool day and a beach cricket game with Lucky's family, ending with a magical Christmas light show at the Heeler's home.

This Christmas display is open for viewing until 24 January 2024, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the Christmas magic without any booking. For those who can't visit in person, Myer offers a Christmas treat with a 24-hour live stream of the moving Christmas displays, along with behind-the-scenes Christmas content.

Furthermore, Myer's Level 6 features the Bluey Activation House for Christmas, and Level 7 houses the festive Santaland. These Christmas-themed areas offer numerous activities and character meet-and-greets during the Christmas weekends, along with exclusive Christmas merchandise. For a complete Christmas experience, Santaland also offers Santa photos and rides on the animated Santaland Express.

To fully enjoy the Christmas atmosphere, consider visiting early in the morning, late in the evening, or during mid-afternoon for a more relaxed Christmas experience. The Bluey Activation House, open from 11am to 3pm daily, extends the Christmas spirit, allowing visitors to explore and shop even outside these hours.
