Networking Skills 101 Program- Module 4: Public Speaking Made Easy

Ability to speak with confidence in the workplace is critical to your career success. In this workshop you will develop your charismatic presentation strategies. We will introduce you to the secrets of how to make a presentation memorable. You will experience how to tailor your message and how to connect with your audience. A very powerful tool is including a story into your presentation. People like stories and people remember stories. Another challenge when giving a presentation is being nervous. We are all nervous and we have to accept this. We give you tips on how to handle your nervousness and transform nervousness into positive energy. You will practice giving a powerful presentation and make an impact, so people remember you.

About the trainer

The Workshop will be facilitated by Marcel Briggen, a career coach and academic instructor at the University of Sydney Business School. Marcel is passionate about education, teaching and coaching people from diverse cultural backgrounds to provide a positive experience for their personal and career development. Marcel is originally from Switzerland and has over 20 years' experience in the finance industry in Europe and Australia.
