Learn to sing in Noongar from Gina and Guy's catalogue of contemporary songs in Noongar language.

About the classes

Join us to learn songs grounded in the four principles of Koort (heart), Moort (family/community), Boodja (land) and Koorlangka (children/legacy), and explore their meaning for individuals and the community. You will receive a booklet with lyrics and key words. We'll finish the series with a small concert for friends and family.

This is a wonderful opportunity to share the language of the land on which we live. No prior singing experience is required.

About the presenters

They have earned a reputation for capturing the hearts and imaginations of audiences around the world; connecting through the power of song. They are both multi-award winners: in 2021 Gina was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia and Guy won the Best Guitarist Award at the WA Music Awards.
