The Canberra Art Workshop 'On Show 2023 - Transition' exhibition of members work provides an opportunity to represent the transitions artists go through, including the transitions occurring and affecting us in the world today. As we grow and change as artists, new things challenge us and capture our imagination. The world around us has changed so much since 2019 (not all of it for the better). There is no better medium than art to demonstrate these changes.
Check out 'Dream City Demolition'' and 'Drift' in Galleries 2 and 3 opening the same evening!
M16 Artspace operates on the lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people. We honour and pay our respects to its traditional custodians. We acknowledge this land 'always was and always will be' the country of Australia's First Nations People. Sovereignty was never ceded.
