Fibre artist/ felt-maker Gill Brooks is opening her studio to the public for a series of events over Craft Week, introducing the uninitiated into the wonder-filled world of wool and the ancient art/ craft, with a modern twist, of felt making.
Visitors can take the opportunity to purchase a unique hand-felted piece from the maker or immerse themselves in the process by taking a mini workshop, learning the basics, and taking home a unique piece of 'you' made felt. Materials and notes provided.
Feltwilde studio will also be part of the Inner West Council's Textile Tour. See their website for further details and to book a seat on the bus.
