Unlock the history and beauty of this iconic 'House on the Hill' and join a tour of Parliament House and its surrounds, discovering the immense state-wide resources that led to its creation. Initially funded from the proceeds of the Kalgoorlie gold rush, discover century old ornate leadlight windows from Albany, jarrah from the South West, masonry quarried from Rottnest Island and Donnybrook and extensive Indigenous artworks from WA. Visit the Parliamentary Chambers, which were completed in 1904, marvel at the old world charm of the Parliamentary Library and view the magnificent architecture and adornments crafted by artisans from throughout the state and further afield.
Engaging presenters will lead you on an intriguing tour or you can complete a self-guided garden walk or family treasure hunt, whilst enjoying our historic panoramas display, with an opportunity to view our historic Fountains refurbishment.
