Peter Maloney has had over 25 solo exhibitions, and his work is in the National Gallery of Australia, MCA Australia, and AGNSW collections, as well as other important public, university, corporate and private collections.
These new paintings are layered with subtle colour over which stark white forms twist and vibrate. Words dissolve and reappear, crosses punctuate the canvases, and the twisting white lines can evoke either topographical maps or idle-minded doodles.
