The Wanderer will be participating in Picnic Surry Hills, the Surry Hills Mardi Gras celebration, offering food and drink deals.
Picnic connects local communities with our local businesses throughout the Eastside Sydney area. Participating Eastside pubs, cafes and venues are offering special Picnic menu deals and offers all weekend of Saturday 6 and 7March.
Rise to the celebrations at The Wanderer for Picnic Surry Hills and Mardi Gras! Fun starts from 4pm! Sip on a Rainbow Rising cocktail and enjoy a retro games competition with friends (Jenga, Shuffleboard & Mario Kart N64 & Wii). This will also include donations to Beyond Blue, made by The Wanderer for the winner!
Then settle in with one of the specially curated Beer Lover's or Wine Lover's Picnics to enjoy whilst viewing the Parade, live streamed. And do stick around for the afterparty w/ DJ Jake Stone!

4pm-6pm - Offering a $20 Rainbow Rising Cocktail with Drag Hosted Retro Games
This offer includes a $3 donation by the Wanderer to Beyond Blue for each winner (*limit 1 venue donation per package/person, not per game, however guests can play as many games as they like for fun)
6pm-10pm - Hosting a live streaming of the parade across all TVs as well as projected in the venue
10pm-12am - A Mardi Gras afterparty with DJ Jake Stone performing
$75 Wine Lover's Picnic
Included: 'Thyme-to-Refresh' Spritz on arrival (grapefruit inspired), Wine Tasting Flight, dip and flatbread spread and salad, cheese and olives.
$75 Beer Lover's Picnic
Included: 'Dank-n-Stormy' on arrival (a grapefruit XPA take on Dark & Stormy), Craft Beer Paddle, 1 schooner beer/cider, basket of wings (BBQ or hot), ½ bruschetta pizza, nuts
