Daniel González Paredes has extensive experience in the field of research and conservation of marine turtles, a study area in which he has been working worldwide as a mediator for the Andalusian Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AACID) since 2008.
Marta Ribó is a marine geologist postdoc research fellow at the University of Auckland, and her research is centred in understanding the seafloor geomorphology in shallow and deep waters and assessing the impact on the seabed of human activities, including plastic pollution and anchor drag marks.
About the moderator Ana Rubio: Ana is a marine biologist and environmental scientist with over 20 years of operational and management experience in coastal natural resource management and marine aquaculture.
Participants attending the event (talk with simultaneous interpretation from Spanish to English) will be able to use the video material of the CSIC part of the 'Friday's Talks' as a basis for the talk and can write questions in zoom via the Q&A button on their screens.
