'Playtime' is the debut exhibition for Sydney based artist Nelson Nghe. It explores re-connection with the inner child and how the power of play pervades even as adults.

Nelson has created contemporary works through the passionate use of mixed media which reflect a love for painting since childhood. With each canvas, he dives intuitively to create fun-loving abstractions.

There is an overwhelming relish for the interplay of colour and texture while adding in a surprise or two.

Each of these artworks offer a personal and unique insight into his world which he feels is best expressed on the canvas.

They invite the viewer to share special moments with him in discovering the child within. All the while, letting the viewer go on their own journey around the canvas, and maybe even discover the child within themselves.

Presented as part of Sydney WorldPride Pride Amplified
