Manningham Council have four events upcoming with author and parent educator Steve Biddulph as follows. As parents are attesting, in COVID-19 times. families are getting to spend a lot more time together and getting to know each other all over again in a different way. As parents and human beings, we never stop learning and are always eager to learn how we can support our children better. Events are as follows. Due to popular demand, there's a second Raising Boys session.

Thu 27 Aug 2020 - 7.30-10.30pm - Secrets of Happy Children
All events are capped at 500 and will not be recorded. Cost is $16 ($9 concession) per registration
There's a call for a rethink of how boys are raised and what really comprises masculinity in Australia. The familiar Boys will be Boys catch-cry no longer suffices in the real world. Steve, a psychologist and one of the world's best-known parent educators will shed light on how to raise boys to be safe, kind and confident.
It's also especially critical for girls to grow up strong and capable; of sound character, and who know they are loved and can stand up for themselves and others. Join in and hear some of the best thinking from around the world on how to raise daughters. The last event Secrets of Happy Children shares the title of Steve's book, which has been read by over one million people in 14 different languages. At this event, Steve will discuss what is really happening inside kids' minds and what we can do about it.
