Online Conference via zoom organised in conjunction with SRAP (Spanish Researchers Asia-Pacific). Virtual debate with top researchers working on green energy projects in Australia and Spain.
Dr Cesar Menendez Muniz is a research associate at the UNSW School of Chemical Engineering. He obtained his bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Oviedo and his PhD in computational modelling of multiferroics at UNSW Sydney. In his current research, he performs advanced modelling to design vessels and materials for hydrogen storage based on metal hydrides.
Dr Carlos Sanchez Diaz (UPV Valencia) electronic engineer, doctor in industrial engineering and coordinator of the ASSET project. The Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) participates, through its Institute of Energy Engineering (IIE), in the ASSET project, a European initiative whose objective is to promote the transition in Europe towards a more sustainable energy model.
Eladio Hernando is a Landscape Architect and Urban Designer in Spackman Mossop Michaels' Sydney office. He is a registered member of both the Spanish Association and the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and a board member of the Spanish Researches in Australia-Pacific. With over 25 years experience in the profession he has successfully completed many projects in Australia, Asia and Europe. Eladio has developed particular design expertise that responds to the physical and cultural contexts with creative solutions that incorporate heritage values into contemporary design concepts. Eladio is also interested in the role of cultural and political development in shaping the public domain.
The event will be in Spanish with simultaneous interpretation into English and will be moderated by expert Eladio Hernando. The public attending the event via zoom will be able to write questions at the Q&A button in their screens.
