Australian Art & Design (AAD) Gallery is an artist collective, well known for promoting original and unique works by local Sydney artists.
Please join us with an informative session with Jody Pawley and Shazia Imran.
Jody Pawley runs a creative art studio in Sydney, Australia where he specialises in bronze sculpture. He is director of Sydney Sculpture School and Artisan Bronze sculpture foundry. Jody has undertaken numerous private and public commissions, including memorials and portrait commissions of political figures and diplomats.
This event offers a unique opportunity for participants to learn the process and techniques involved in bronze sculpture.
AAD Gallery is organising a suite of interactive art programs in the space situated at iconic and historical precinct of The Rocks as part of the 'ART ON THE ROCKS' project. The main objective of the program is to educate, promote and assist visual and performing artists.
The purpose of these events is to revive and restore the collaborative network of Sydney's artist community and access to promotional platforms and income-generating opportunities. All these events will aim at transferring knowledge of skills and techniques as well as practical business sessions to assist with pricing, promotion and intellectual property.
