Every great story begins with an extraordinary woman, in this case three generations of women whose lives draw us deep into the very essence of the human soul.
Rafaela López Aguilar, an Andalusian psychologist and boxer faces her empty existence. On the day of her thirty-seventh birthday, she receives a mysterious letter that will take her on a transformational journey, shattering the chains of time, where she will not only come face to face with her ancestors and a dark past but also with a spiritual world that will completely change her life and that of humanity as we know it.
An introspective psychological novel filled with magical realism and hints of science fiction that leads us to explore the concepts of conscience and happiness, while also reflecting on social issues. This is the story of Belly, Amelia and Rafaela, but in a way, it is also our story. This book is to be truly experienced, bound with the threads of emotion, love, dreams and truth.
And who knows, upon returning from this journey, whether the world has become a smaller place or perhaps it is you that has grown.
About the author
Pilar López (Granada, Spain) is an inspiring international author, currently splitting her time between Spain and Australia, renowned in the world of coaching and personal development for her revolutionary vision and unconventional ideas.
For the past twenty-five years, she has passionately devoted herself to her mission, contributing to the creation of a new and improved human being. She likes to call herself 'the awakener' as this is, in fact, what she does: awaken our consciousness.
She collaborates on several radio segments and leads corporate programs that focus on fostering human talent and internal transformations. She is an expert on personal change and empowerment processes and travels frequently as a motivational speaker, promoting movement in order to live happier lives.
A true entrepreneur, she has founded several organisations, among them the NGO House to Grow, from which she actively supports society's most vulnerable members.
She is also a wonderful and relatable communicator, who knows how to seduce audiences and hold the public's attention, reaching their minds and conquering their hearts.
Her previous work includes the self-help book Como crear una vida maravillosa, also available in English under the title How to Create and Amazing Life.
