South Coast based artist Hela Donela invites you to share her paintings in her latest exhibition, 'Stories'.
Hela's works are highly textured, and often a result of an almost brutal painting process. Yet, her artworks possess an ethereal lightness, evoking a sense of calmness and serenity to the viewer. The occasional splashes of bold colour only serve to amplify this experience.
Hela's 'mindfulness' approach to painting reveals her unfettered creativity, without boundaries or convention, allowing her freedom to express her perception of the world - to tell her stories. The individual but interwoven stories unfold through a series of paintings.
'Find the thread. Find me. Follow the thread. Find yourself.'
This exhibition is one not to miss. Hela's previous Sydney exhibitions have been well received with visitors coming from far and wide, with countless paintings sold.
