The world fell in love with Saroo through the release of the 2016 movie, Lion. His mother Sue has released her story Lioness. To acknowledge the release, Better Read Than Dead are holding an online event on 19 November 2020 at 6.30pm (AEST).
We've previously discovered some of Sue's story in Saroo's internationally bestselling book A Long Way Home that was adapted into the film Lion. The film starred Dev Patel, Sunny Pawar, Rooney Mara, Nicole Kidman and David Wenham.
