LIMBO - JANUARY 9

Nominated for two BAFTA® awards for Best British Film and Best Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer, LIMBO is a funny and poignant cross-cultural satire that subtly sews together the hardship and hope of the refugee experience.

HIVE - JANUARY 16

Fahrije's husband has been missing since the war in Kosovo, and along with their grief, her family is struggling financially. In order to provide for them, she launches a small agricultural business, but in the traditional patriarchal village where she lives, her ambition and efforts to empower herself and other women are not seen as positive things.

PARALLEL MOTHERS - JANUARY 23

From Academy Award-winning writer/director Pedro Almodóvar and starring Oscar winner Penélope Cruz, PARALLEL MOTHERS tells the story of two women, Janis and Ana, who coincide in a hospital room where they are going to give birth. Both are single and became pregnant by accident. The few words they exchange in these hours will create a very close link between the two, which by chance develops and complicates, and changes their lives in a decisive way.

FLEE - JANUARY 30

Denmark's submission for Best International Feature Film at this year's Academy Awards and winner of over 20 film awards, including the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, FLEE uncovers a remarkable true story. Amin Nawabi is an Afghan refugee who grapples with a painful secret he has kept hidden for 20 years, which now threatens to derail the life he has built for himself and his soon to be husband.
