Wed 26 Aug 2020 from 7pm to 8.30pm -Anxious Kids- from anxiety to resilience - Tickets ($10)
Kate Wilde - educator, counsellor and development worker will guide you to understand, support and stay connected to your teen as they transition to adulthood in the first event. Get a deeper understanding as to why adolescents behave the way they do as they develop their emotions, mood and brain. Learn how to keep the communication lines open and cope with the changing relationship as they become more independent.
Dr.Jodi Richardson is a mental health and well-being author, speaker and educator who will share her experience and touch on subjects on how you can help anxious kids transition from anxiety to resilience. Learn what kids need to develop resilience and help them develop a tolerance towards distress. Get insight into what happens in an anxious brain and the contagious nature of anxiety.
