TAIKO TIME with Ryuji - Developing Your Taiko Rhythm
Ryuji will teach not only basic techniques like mittsuuchi and kuchishoga, but also various taiko rhythms for your improvisation and soloing, including tips on how you can improve in these areas of your playing. Ryuji will explain in detail the rhythms introduced each week. He will also provide videos, sound tracks and notation to help you practice between sessions.
This class is sure to be helpful for all levels of taiko players. The classes are fully online. Have a drum pad handy with drumsticks or bachi. If you don't have a pad, then a cushion or piece of foam will suffice. Headphones or earbuds will be handy, too.
