MakerSpace & Co. is excited to be offering this class to all budding makers! Teaching your craft is a great way to add value to your profile as a maker, build a community of like-minded people, and provide you with an additional income stream to your making.

MakerSpace & Co have teamed up with jeweller Marina Civiero, from www.marinaciviero.com.au who has more than 15 years of teaching experience. Marina will be joined by Nadine Sharpe, GM of MakerSpace & Co., jeweller and educator, who has run a variety of classes teaching craft all over NSW for the last eight years.

Nadine and Marina will be discussing what it is like to run creative education programs, the good the bad and the ugly, and how to manage the inevitable when something goes wrong.

This is an interactive session, with a Q&A component for discussion with participants. The session will also include break out groups, where participants will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas and receive feedback, helpful tips and ideas on what needs to be considered to bring that idea to fruition.

This online class is open to everyone, whether you are an expert in your field or a budding maker just starting out. All welcome!

This event is a part of Sydney Craft Week, 8 October - 17 October. The Sydney Craft Week Festival is an Australian Design Centre initiative. View the complete festival program online.
