The Ethics Centre, presenter of The Festival of Dangerous Ideas, has announced a new interactive trilogy of thought experiments. The new series 'The Ethics of…' will see Australia's leading experts in ethics and philosophy unpack human complexities and facilitating new avenues for discourse and in-depth self-reflection.
The Ethics Centre's Executive Director, Dr Simon Longstaff, will unravel the lapse of faith in people and systems in the session, 'The Ethics of Trust.'
Dr Simon Longstaff will take the audience through the various and complex layers of trust, how it's earned, maintained and broken. How should we decide which people and systems we should trust? What has happened to cause the rampant distrust we see today?
The event is available to attend live in Sydney and will be live-streamed to a digital audience.
'The Ethics of Trust' is the second session in 'The Ethics of…' trilogy, with first workshop 'The Ethics of Trust' running in March and last workshop 'The Ethics of Disagreement' in May.
Digital tickets start at $14 and a multi-pack option of seeing all 3 for $30. Tickets are available for purchase at https://ethics.org.au/experience/the-ethics-of-trust/
