BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER, Re-imagining the 1999 cult film, 21-22 May @ 7pm & 9pm
The AstroTurf is rolled out. Megan is clutching at her suitcase. She is greeted by a group performing intercourse simulations wearing Adam and Eve-inspired bodysuits. An inadvertent horny gay hotbed is revealed. She takes her first step towards intervention. A work-in-development presentation.
BETTY IS A BUTCHER, Savaged family relationships, 28 May @ 9pm and 29 May @ 7pm & 9pm
Five characters, five reasons to live, an odyssey towards death. A collage of memory, these characters jostle for existence in a theatrical phantasmagoria filled with dark humour, pathos and unsettling personal narrative.
MEET THE GLITORIS, Cum face the Clit, 4-5 June @ 8pm
THE HUNGER, Operatic horror-drama, 11-12 June @ 7pm & 9pm
A vampire's human familiar, whose burning desire to be turned becomes all consuming. The familiar mournfully traverses a debris of iconography - a cowboy, a veil, a ghost double - in a futile search for transformation. 11-12 June @ 7pm & 9pm
LIMITS, Subverting the body beautiful, 18-19 June @ 8pm
THE SUCKER, Celebrating how weird life is, 25-26 June @ 7pm & 9pm
SHAMMGODS, Breaking ankles and egos, 2-3 July @ 7pm & 9pm
Taking their name from 90s NBA star 'God Shammgod', famous for his footwork and dribbling skills, Shammgods involves three performers attempting to become gods on stage, only to butt up against the reality of their limitations and find unexpected means of transcending them.
INTRODUCING AUNTY JUDE, The unseen middle age, 9 - 10 July @ 7pm & 9pm
SEAM WORXX, A double bill of new worxx, 16-17 July @ 8pm
Wigs are being fluffed and Vaseline is slathered on to the lens to bring you the trials and tribulations of the most famous soap opera family you haven't met yet // Can Australia's gayest bushranger zombie from 1880 help a coven of lesbians find their place within Sydney's gay elite?
