As the sun sets, join us for a celebratory series of late-night activations at the Museum of Sydney in association with the exhibition The People's House: Sydney Opera House at 50. The dynamic event series will showcase the incredible contribution the Sydney Opera House has made to our cultural landscape and the special place it holds in the hearts of Australians.
Listen to a range of talks from experts that uncover fascinating facts about the country's number-one tourist attraction, watch films that reveal the intriguing and inspiring stories of this World Heritage-listed masterpiece, and experience pop-up performances that will surprise and delight.
Performance is the beating heart of the Sydney Opera House, and we want to celebrate Australia's busiest performing arts centre. On the second Thursday of each month, the festivities will move under the stars as some of our most exciting musicians and performers take up residence on the forecourt of the Museum of Sydney.
Cosy up with a delicious food and beverage offer from This Way Canteen. Members get more: get 10% off food and drinks at This Way Canteen.
The People's House: Up Late monthly activation is produced by dplr in association with Museums of History NSW. This project is proudly supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW Blockbusters Funding initiative.
