In this art class, the kids will work directly with the artist herself, Sophie. They will explore art techniques, principles, processes, artist's work, and traditional arts from around the world. The emphasis is on self-expression and experimentation, with children learning through examples of work and 'play' to develop their skill and creativity.
Teacher Sophie will be covering a range of media, including clay, drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, and sculpture. Focusing on process and the journey of learning, this class will surely generate a high-quality artwork.
All materials and equipment will be provided and are included in the cost. Although these sessions are education-based, the kids will surely have a lot of fun as the class is designed for students who enjoy art and want to develop their skills.
Children needing tuition and supervision for their own artwork are also welcome to attend.
