It's Record Store Day and there's no better spot to show your appreciation of independent record stores, DJ stores and recording studios of all genres than in the Valley. As Brisbane's live music mecca, the Fortitude Valley Special Entertainment Precinct continues to hero and nurture the city's renowned music-based entertainment industry.

Show your support and turn it up in the Valley for a five-hour jam fest when Record Store Day festivities take over Brunswick Street Mall. From 10am-3pm, DJs from the Valley's  Catalog Music, QUIVR  as well as DJs from 4ZZZ will soundtrack your weekend. Our local community radio station 4ZZZ will be our MC for the day.

Also check out the Suitcase Rummage markets where a rummager can expect to find trash and treasure alongside art and hand-made products. From vintage, seconds, bric-a-brac, books, jewellery, shoes, records, badges, cards, handmade and more! Punters are encouraged to bargain, swap, or brave an old fashioned haggle.

So get down to hear DJ sets from your favourite record store and music lovers can browse pop-up markets stalls with vinyl and vintage wares.
