The voice is an essential tool for actors and having a knowledge of how to use it well helps with all performances. Spend two days exploring vocal technique, projection and vocal range as well as accent training.
During these sessions students will begin to develop and strengthen their voices by finding the connection between emotional range and the voice. There will also be special attention paid to vocal warm-ups and characterisation through vocal ability and clear and concise delivery. Students will apply the voice and accent work to contemporary and classic scripts, focusing on vocal technique and character.
Making use of interactive online programs, school holiday workshops bring the drama experience to your living room, kitchen, backyard or wherever! Students will still get the chance to connect with an ATYP artist and their fellow classmates each day to create, express and perform.
Classes will be held using Google Classroom and Zoom platforms.
