Be welcomed on your guided cultural tour by Traditional Owner, Kerry-Ann Winmar, who has a strong family history of ancient customs and traditions in Perth and Kings Park. Hear from Kerry-Ann Winmar as she shares knowledge that was passed down to her. Taking in the magnificent gardens of Kings Park and spectacular views overlooking Perth City and the Swan River, Kerry-Ann shares traditional stories of Whadjuk Country and the history of the Nyungar people in Perth.

Visit Pioneer Women's Memorial place and learn about the significance of Yorgars (women) there as you walk down the path of serene water ponds and the Water Gardens. Enjoy traditional stories and learn about medicinal and bush foods farmed by the Nyungar women in the area. Kerry-Ann will demonstrate that the bush is a virtual apothecary. Get hands on with traditional Aboriginal living demonstrations such as the use of grinding stones, ochre paints, bush foods, paperbark and all other seasonal Nyungar activities.
Kerry-Ann welcomes all women to walk with her.

Bookings via Eventbrite - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/88996453789. Women only.
