Perry Park Recreation Centre will be running casual Pickleball weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays.Pickleball is a low-impact fun game that's easy to learn and suitable for all ages. It is a combination of tennis- ping-pong and badminton that is played on a court about the size of a badminton court. It is played with a paddle and perforated ball.Pickleball is a great way to improve your fitness. Walking Basketball is a low-impact- social and fun way to improve the levels of physical activity for inactive and slightly active people- including those recovering from injury.The program provides optimal health benefits to all who participate- including those who might be intimidated by the pace and impact of a traditional basketball game but love the slower- more social version of Walking Basketball. Session are 60 minutes and will involve a warm up- skill based drills and 'game play'.
