Boomalli Aboriginal Art Gallery 2020
Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Co-operative's primary goal is to promote Aboriginal Artists whose language groups exist in the NSW state boundaries. We support- promote- educate and protect copyright for our members. Boomalli strives to improve access for Aboriginal Artists from both regional and metropolitan NSW. Boomalli has a current membership base of 50 Artists. Approximately a third are emerging Artists and over half of our membership consists of regional Artists. Our key philosophy is to assist Aboriginal Artists from NSW with a divergent and professional skill set- that can only be derived from first hand experience. The installation- promotion and delivery of artwork to the Co-operative is a fundamental foundation for the success not only of the individual Artists- but allows for a wider net of success for the Co-operative as a whole. Our aims are to enhance and embrace new opportunities for NSW language group Artist members. We work diligently to support our regional Artists specifically to assist in supporting them in the social equity space.
