Artsite Galleries is excited to announce that our stockroom is now open to the public Saturday and Sundays- 11am to 5pm.Home to a variety of Australian artists such as Graham Marchant- Kerry Johns and David Asher Brook- audiences can engage in an intimate stockroom viewing experience as they get up close and personal with a range of curated work.

Release your inner-whatever you want and do it all in a cosy environment- creating a core ensemble.We work with the basics of Viola Spolin's concepts to get comfortable with the group mind. This class is great for people new to improv or improvisers and actors who want to break habits and get back to simple- basic fun.The ITS curriculum is progressive. Level one focuses on simple creativity and group mind- level two works on creating scenes through strong character choices and relationships- level three takes your scenework and combines it with stagecraft techniques (and is the first level to have a grad show performance)- level four elevates your two person scenes and culminates in the longform format La Ronde- level five is a complete performance in the ITS iteration of The Harold- level six uses all previous levels- works on different longform styles- and explores formats and ways of playing.Improv Theatre Sydney is a registered COVID Safe business. Award-winning artist Emma Pask has established herself as one of Australia's favourite jazz vocalists. Showcasing expert versatility- Emma can swing through jazz standards- ride Latin rhythms or pour her heart into tender ballads. Discovered at just 16- Emma's long and decorated career has seen her perform at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London- the Sydney Opera House and support 70's disco and funk legend George Benson. Shows will be seated and limited to 60 per sitting- with patrons seated to allow for social distancing. Please adhere to social distancing at all times and follow direction from venue staff. A fun exploration in using wax to create wearable and none wearable objects.Such techniques as dipping- molding- carving and even alternatives to create and assemble prior to casting in potentially both precious and non-precious metals.This class can also be classed as a projects class and is open to all skill levels.‍Covid-safe measuresDue to social distancing regulations we are limited to allow 4 persons max in each of our classes. Priority will be given to students already enrolled in prior to lock-downs and class allocation will then be first in- best dressed basis. Schedules and classes have changed slightly. So please take the time to look through the class options and schedules below. Please email with 2 options if there more than one day to choose from.‍It's important that all students wear COVID Safe face masks during classes when possible and have their own workshop apron. We ask that you remain home if you are unwell or- if in the last 14 days- you have experienced cold or flu symptoms- have returned from overseas or have been to or had contact with someone from a COVID hotspot.

Our artist-educator will guide your family through the exhibition Lindy Lee: Moon in a Dew Drop- stopping at a few key artworks to have a closer look and partake in some creative learning strategies that the whole family will enjoy.To follow Covid-19 safety guidelines- each tour is limited to two families with a maximum of 5 people per family. Be creative- get new skills and take your creations home. It is the best way to spend time with like-minded fellow workshoppers in a fun and friendly atmosphere. No experience needed. They will be at the Centre discussing their work and answering questions about their practice.
