With the kids fast approaching the end of their holidays, let them enjoy this last stretch before they return to school by taking them out to one of these great events happening around Sydney. This post covers 5 things for the kids to do including free events, active activities and development workshops.
1: Sydney Olympic Park Pop-up Water Park
Let the kids have plenty of fun and exercise on a series of inflatables slides, runways and swings. This indoor aquatic centre will also let the family have a break from the summer heat! There is also a nearby archery centre as well as many more activities on offer including gymnastics, netball, cricket and soccer programs and circus workshops.
2: Haymarket Street Party
This is a great event to get involved in the huge festive celebrations for Lunar New Year. With an abundant of entertainment, food and drinks for the whole family, everyone will definitely have a great time. Be sure to also check out the Lunar Spectacular Show and Lunar Lanterns at Circular Quay while you're there!
3: The Big Bounce Australia 2020
If you're looking for more inflatable fun, the Big Bounce is the event for you. The kids will love the world’s biggest jumping castle, obstacle course, maze and many more attractions!
4: Future Makers: January School Holiday Workshops
If you're hoping the kids may pick up some new skills and foster their creativity, then this is the event you're looking for. The National Art School workshops will well equip them to explore a life in art. They also offer workshops for children in high school.
5: Sharks of The Reef
Learn and meet a variety of sharks at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium through exciting interactive activities. Not only will the family have a jaw-some time making friends with the sharks, but you will come out with plenty of fun facts to share!
