Customers are encouraged to call ahead to reserve tables, rather than gathering out the front of venues to queue.
Food and drink premises can open, but only to seat a maximum of 10 customers at any one time. This is in addition to the sale of takeaway food and drinks.
All food and drink premises:
- must only seat a maximum of 10 customers at any one time
- must comply with the 4 square metre rule
- should encourage physical distancing
- should follow and encourage good hand hygiene at all times to keep customers and staff safe
- can continue to provide takeaway food to be consumed off the premises
- if they are part of an accommodation facility such as a hotel, can continue room service.
Pubs and registered clubs are required to keep bars closed unless they are part of onsite food premises. They cannot open poker machines to customers.
