Immerse yourself in the beauty of the natural world with this stunning photographic exhibition.

On this breathtaking journey, you will witness unique flora, wildlife with attitude and incredible landscapes from our own backyard and the world around us. From an octopus in the depths of the Lembeh Strait in Indonesia to turtles on Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia and the majestic fjords of New Zealand.

The 2021 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year, a South Australian Museum, celebrates the natural diversity and heritage of the Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and New Guinea bioregion. It features the works of professional, amateur and junior photographers from around the world.

Their images provoke us to explore and understand the changing nature of our environment and appreciate the wonder that surrounds us.

The 2021 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year is produced by the South Australian Museum in partnership with Australian Geographic.
