The Oceania Cycling Confederation, AusCycling, Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane Economic Development Agency are delighted to announce that Brisbane, Australia will host the first combined Oceania Cycling Championships, 19 March - April 11, 2022 within the Brisbane Cycling Festival presented by King St.
Oceania championship titles will be contested across the eight disciplines of BMX Racing, BMX Freestyle, Mountain Bike Cross Country, Mountain Bike Downhill, Para-cycling (road and track), Road (time trial & road race) and Track. The Oceania Gran Fondo Challenge will also be contested as a non-championship event.
2022 Oceania Championship Schedule:
- Mountain Bike Downhill: 19 - 20 March 2022 at Kooralbyn Valley MTB Park, Kooralbyn
- Mountain Bike XCO: 26 - 27 March 2022 at Tyamolum Scout Camp, Mount Crosby
- Track (inc Para-cycling): 2 - 5 April 2022 at Anna Meares Velodrome, Chandler
- BMX Racing: 8 April 2022 (BMX National Cup: 9 April 2022) at Sleeman Sports Complex, Chandler
- BMX Freestyle: 10 April 2022 at Doug Larsen Park, Beenleigh
- Road (including Para-cycling and Gran Fondo Challenge) as a part of the Tour de Brisbane: 10 April 2022
- Time Trial (inc Para-cycling): 11 April 2022
