The Korean Cultural Centre Australia (KCCAU) proudly presents 2023 Korean Literature Week in partnership with the Berkelouw Books Paddington, an iconic venue amongst Sydney's literary community located in the heart of Oxford Street.

During this period, a selection of carefully curated 33 Korean books (in English) will be displayed in the three story bookstore, of which the glass facade will be decorated with Korean traditional Saekdong style interior in time for Sydney's Mardi Gras.

The KCCAU is also to offer a variety of programs including a Korean book club session with Booker Prize shortlisted Cursed Bunny by Bora Chung on 1st March and craft workshops making Saekdong pouches for adults and paper hanbok for children on 4th March.

From 27 February to 5 March, a special Korean menu highlighting Korean traditional tea and desserts will be available at the Berkelouw Cafe 1812 on level one of the book store.

  • Korean Book Club (Cursed Bunny by Bora Chung) / 1 March at 6pm / Free, booking required.

  • Patchwork Workshop making Saekdong Pouch Making / 4 March at 11am and 1pm / Free, booking required.

  • Paper Hanbok making workshop for children / 4 March from 2.30-4pm / Free, drop-in.
