As part of Vivid Sydney's Ideas program, Woven Threads, known for its animated series' on mental health and refugees, has been selected to host its panel 'A Fresh Perspective: Tackling Issues with Creativity.'

Highly acclaimed for his hosting role in raising awareness around climate change, Craig Reucassel will lead this highly interactive panel to discuss how creativity can be used as a powerful voice to achieve maximum awareness on topics such as indigenous culture, mental health, community and justice services, and refugees.

Panelists include:

  • Frances Rings (Artistic Director, Bangarra Dance Theatre)

  • Katherine Boydell (Professor of Mental Health, Black Dog Institute)

  • Keenan Mundine (Co-Founder and Ambassador, Deadly Connections)

  • Michi Marosszeky (Co-Founder and Director, Woven Threads)
