Earlier this year, we announced that our beloved Adelaide Cabaret Festival was cancelled due to the declaration of a public health emergency as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whilst we may not be able to meet in theatres, under shining lights that transport us from our world to another, and while we can't sit side-by-side to hear stories and music from performers across the globe, we can still celebrate the spirit of South Australia's favourite winter event!
Our snack-sized line up features Ali McGregor, All The Queens Men, Anne Pigalle, Ash Flanders, Bec Matthews, Beccy Cole, Bert LaBonte, Caroline Nin, Carsie Blanton, Catherine Alcorn, David Campbell, David Finnigan, Earl Okin, Geraldine Quinn, James Galea, Jeanne Plante, Josh Quong-Tart, Julia Zemiro, Kate Ceberano, Libby O'Donovan, Marcel Lucont, Max Savage, Nicci Wilks, Plonk Family Band, Robyn Archer, Sam McMahon, Sarah Ward, Thando, The Hamiltons, The Sisters of Invention, and Trevor Jones.
Tune in on social media where these talented cabaret artists will share stories, snippets, shoutouts and songs made during April and May whilst in isolation, especially for our mini version of Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2020: Bite-Sized & Home Delivered, each responding to the question: 'What Good Is Sitting Alone In Your Room?'
We'd love for you to share your favourite memories with us and join the conversation with #CabaretAtHome and #AdCabFest.
