These are big times, powerful times. Such times come with great gifts, offering us the chance to alchemise past hurts and disappointments, to take a quantum leap in how we see ourselves - how we show up in the world, and how we discover our purpose and belonging.

Much of our unease lies in our lack of nuanced understanding of where we come from, where we are (a more profound sense of place), and the personal space we occupy. When we're clearer about these qualities, we're more able to harness the massive energy that great change brings.

There's a reason why so many peoples across the planet honour their ancestors, the spirit of place, and the quality of the space they choose to occupy. What wisdoms await us here? About facilitator / Maggie Hamiliton

As a social researcher, media commentator and keen observer of social trends, Maggie Hamilton gives frequent talks and lectures. Her books, published in over a dozen countries, include What Men Don't Talk About, the lives of real men and boys; What's Happening to Our Girls? and What's Happening to Our Boys? About the current issues boys and girls face; When We Become Strangers, on loneliness; and What Happens to Our Kids When We Fail to Grow Up?. When she's not working, Maggie likes to travel off the beaten track - to deserts and sacred mountains, to temples, cathedrals and standing-stones, where each time a new face of the sacred reveals itself.
