Aptly labelled the world's most influential living philosopher, Peter Singer is by far the most widely read contemporary philosopher in existence. His work, covering a variety of topics, focuses on what it means to live an ethical life.

Peter has shaped his career around the idea of reducing suffering and maximising happiness. This served as the basis for his 2009 book The Life You Can Save, which inspired the Effective Altruism movement.

All net proceeds from this event will be directly donated to the non-profit of the same name, The Life You Can Save, to aid people in extreme poverty in low-income countries. Each attendee will also receive a free copy of the book.

Learn how to apply ethics to your everyday life, make the greatest impact you can on society and gain insight into the mind of the world's most influential philosopher.

This event will consist of an hour-long conversation between Peter and the event host followed by a Q&A session.
